- Broad Street Inn – Operates under the philosophy of sustainability and uses as many local products as possible. We line dry our linens and ask guests to hang up towels they don’t need washed. We also provide mugs, wine glasses, and glass cups to reduce our overall waste (less plastic cups!). We also provide a recycling receptacle in each room as well as in our communal sun room/kitchen. All of our lights have been replaced with CFLs. In each shower, we have a soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser to avoid throwing away a lot of those little travel-size plastic bottles. 517 W. - The Lotus House - Rollins Lake, The Lotus Lake House is a completely “green” contemporary house designed by the award-winning architect Michelle Kaufmann for the 2007 West Coast Green conference in San Francisco. It’s a sleek modern design, lots of windows and cool welcoming tones. As Michelle says, “this house has more love per square foot than any other I have known”. - The Outside Inn – A green certified hotel – we conserve as much energy and water as we can and we encourage our guests to do the same (we even line dry our linens whenever possible). We have a major recycling plan, with recycle receptacles in every room as well as around the inn. We replaced all of our lighting with fluorescent lighting. 575 E.
