CHEESES

  • Cowgirl Creamery – www.cowgirlcreamery.com - From the beginning, they wanted to make delicious, artisan cheese, to be environmentally responsible, and they also wanted to support their cheesemaking friends in being sustainable land stewards. Today, Cowgirl Creamery continues to make just a small collection of cheese — four, soft aged and three fresh, totaling about 3,000 pounds per week. However, their circle of cheesemaking friends has grown like wildfire and they now distribute extraordinary artisan cheeses from over 60 of America’s and Europe’s most prized producers. – 80 Fourth Street , Point Reyes Station, CA 94956   – (415) 663-9335

  • Sierra Nevada Cheese Co. - Sierra Nevada Cheese Company was founded in 1997 by Ben Gregersen and John Dundon. Ben and John are both hands-on owners and operators of Sierra Nevada Cheese Company.  Their mission is to provide their customers with the highest quality product using only the most wholesome milk, free of added hormones, preservatives, stabilizers, gums, and nothing artificial… just great cheese. Ben and John have 50 years of combined experience and they have never wavered from the industry and their own standards.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    At Sierra Nevada Cheese Company, we support a sustainable economy and environment through local sourcing. Our use of agricultural products preserves the nature of our regional economy and its historic culture.

The continued pressure on food companies to outperform their bottom-line, has led to over-processing and unconventional production methods.  This results in food that is full of stabilizers, fillers, and preservatives in the name of efficiency, and at the expense of quality and flavor.

Sierra Nevada Cheese Company strives to create the best tasting dairy products by keeping true to our own philosophy:  A clean ingredient list, coupled with traditional manufacturing methods. We use only natural, wholesome ingredients and milk and cream from local Northern California producers who guarantee their product is free of synthetic hormones and antibiotics. Additionally, our organic dairy partners practice animal welfare standards outlined by American Humane Association.  Organic cheeses and goat cheeses. 6505 County Road #39
