Here are some of the ways we are doing that, and we are always looking to do more: 100% Compostable to-go containers and cups. All spent grain from the brewing process is donated to a local ranch for livestock feed. All of our beef is 100% Natural. We donate all of our used fryer oil to be turned into Bio-Diesel fuel. We have custom designed a new grant for our Brewhouse that greatly reduces the amount of waste from our brewing process, and helps to keep our local sanitation plant cleaner. We are proud to only serve Truckee tap water, and no bottled water. No lemon required!

- Pianeta – At Pacific Crest Grill we are committed to applying sustainable restaurant business practices, we are also sourcing products grown or raised from as close to our downtown Truckee restaurant as possible in order to help minimize our carbon footprint, We make a conscious effort to use sustainable, eco-friendly varieties of farmed fish such as catfish, rainbow trout and tilapia whenever possible we also take advantage of using local purveyors and regional farms for produce, beef and cheese, olive oil from California Olive Ranch, in Oroville, Calif., We also recycle our canola-only cooking oil waste through a local company, Simple Fuels, who specializes in recycling restaurant oils for biodiesel production. And here’s another cool practice, all of our to-go wear–our disposable beer cups and to-go containers — are all made from cornstarch materials and are therefore biodegradable.
